The UK Energy Partnership aimed to simplify the complex process of home energy upgrades for homeowners across the United Kingdom. Facing a fragmented market and often confusing government grant schemes like ECO4 and the Boiler Upgrade Scheme, the client needed a robust, user-friendly platform that could educate users, check eligibility for funding, and seamlessly connect them with trusted, MCS certified installers for solar panels, heat pumps, insulation, and boilers. Our challenge was to build an intuitive digital hub that not only provided clear information on various energy solutions and available grants but also offered a streamlined, no-obligation quote comparison service. The platform needed to be highly performant, SEO-optimized to reach a broad audience, and capable of handling lead generation efficiently for a network of installers.

We engineered a modern, responsive web application using Nuxt.js, leveraging its server-side rendering capabilities for superior SEO and initial page load performance. The platform features an interactive multi-step quote request form that intelligently gathers user requirements and property details, dynamically checking eligibility for grants like ECO4. Firebase was integrated to provide a scalable and secure backend for managing installer partnerships, lead distribution, and data storage.
